I'm confused and I need help with this: for the last 5mths or so my period has been on time I was supposed to start June 8th but instead I was naused, all the way until my period started the 11th 3 days late. Even still while on my period I am naused but not as bad before it started. PPl are telling me to take a hpt but I say its no point because I came on and it seems like a regular period. Should I take a hpt or just leave it alone. Some one help

There are a number of early indications of pregnancy, and a lighter or shorter period than usual is one of these. Other indications include:
* completely missing a period
* swelling, tenderness, or tingling in the breasts (about two weeks after conception)
* frequent urination
* fatigue
* nausea or vomiting (morning sickness)
* feeling bloated or crampy
* increased or decreased appetite
* changes in digestion (constipation or heartburn)
* mood changes
If a woman is pregnant, usually more than one of these symptoms will be present. In other words, a light period one month may or may not mean that one is pregnant, especially depending upon whether there has been unprotected intercourse during that month.
To be safe take the test. But be warned that you get what you pay for, buy a HPT that costs a little more for a better result...

HPTs are pretty accurate - its worth the investment and then you will have peace of mind.
