My power comes on to my property on a pole that is approximately 25' from my house, down to the meter base and then underground to my house, that conduit comes through the ground in middle of the house( I only have a crawl space) it goes straight through the floor and into the panel, about 5' total of conduit in the house.

Do I need to have a disconnecting means on my pole below the meter base, or is the main breaker in the house sufficient?

I have found several sources that state if your meter is more than 5-10' from the main disconnect you have to have a disconnect at the meter, but I'm not sure if there are stipulations to that rule.

Thanks in advance.

This is entirely locally mandated. The NEC does NOT give an actual distance.
ONLY your local POCO or inspector can tell you this.

I will say 5'-6' is about the limit in most areas.
