My food disposal sunndely dead. If Allen wrench and pushing the red reset buttom did not help, what was wrong. By the way, when I turn on the power, there was no any humming noise, no any reaction. If the motor dead?

Have you checked circuit breaker?

Yes, I did. The switch has power 110V

In that case you will have t6o shut the power off at the breaker box and open up the connections. There are two ways to check for 110 at the disposal. You can turn the power on and check with a AC Voltmeter or you can clip two leads on a lamp, connect them to the wires going in to the unit and turn the power back on. If the lamp lights then you have power to the unit. It could be a faulty internal breaker, (the red button) or open motor windings but before I replaced it I would find out what the problem was. The power switch was broken. I replaced it and the disposal backed to work.
