I found on Craigslist where someone is wanting $100.00 for a painting by that same artist. So, that might give you an idea as to the possible monetary value that it might have.

Lighted Italian Painting by A. Arneyger - $100 (Brockton, MA)

Imported painting from italy. "Picture in Living Shores of Sorrento" by A. Arneyger. Mint condition. Between 40 and 50 years old.

The Craigslist ad with images of the painting, is located on the following link. Lighted Italian Painting by A. Arneyger (http://southcoast.craigslist.org/clt/667956336.html) Although, I'm sure that the ad will disappear at some point in the future because it will expire.

Also, are you sure of the spelling of his last name? There seems to have been some discussion concerning that in sites on the Internet.
