My tiler cleaned his tiling tools in my kitchen sink and now it is clogged. How can I unclogg it?

Remove the trap, the elbow under the sink, and try to clean it out. If it is really full of concrete, and plugged solid, go to your local hardware store, and buy a new one to replace it. They ar really not expensive at all. If I were you, I'd try to get the tiler to do all of the work, espescially if he is a professional, and has been compensated for his labor.

Hi all:
Elmthree... first line of defense here will be to try a plunger.
Fill your sink with 2 or 3 inches of water and then PLUNGE the sink. Pulling up will be more effective than pushing... ;) (if two sinks, have friend hold wet rag deep into the cup of the other sink).
If that is ineffective.. then follow Trandy's advice and see what happens from there.
If plunger does not fix issue...it's definitely on the contractor!!!
Good luck and please let us know as you go along on this one!

Good advice from Massplumber and Trendy.
Let's hope the Tile Grout all ended up, in the trap. If so you'll have a easy fix. However if the grout got past the trap and into anything up in the wall you may have to rent a power snake with a small spade tip,(see image) and send it into wall,(see image) and break it up and flush it out through the main. Good luck, Tom
