Can any one tell me how to install the drive belt on a murray 30 in riding mower, [ model 30546x49] and the routing of it.

For a diagram try using the ordertree.com website - as for fitting it the - I've found the only hard part is getting it onto the pulley wheel(s) at the point(s) where there is a metal piece to stop the belt coming off and at each point like this make sure you have some slack in the belt to the left of the belt stop - then angle the belt so that the portion to the left side of the belt stop is at the same height as the pulley wheel - and the right side is just above the pulley wheel (this will happen anyway because of the stiffness of the belt etc.) - then pull the belt (in a left to right direction) and you will find that the belt will gradually feed into the pulley wheel vee while going past the belt stop. OK ?
