Hi,

I am the owner of two dogs, one is a black lab and the other is a german shorthair pointer, they are great dogs. I live in the bronx and would like to know where owners like myself take their dogs swimming? :)

I don't live anywhere near the Bronx but I'm betting that your best bet is going to be to just buy a small plastic pool for them. However, as I'm ignorant to your living situation (whether or not you have a yard or you're in an apartment) this could prove to be problematic.

I don't know if that was even remotely helpful but I will tell you this: if you do happen to find a place to take your doggies swimming ALWAYS BE SURE TO PUT COTTON BALLS IN THEIR EARS PRIOR TO SWIMMING. We see so many ear infections at the clinic where I work due to water in the ears. A dog's ear canal is shaped like an 'L'. It goes straight down then takes a turn inward toward the ear drum. When water gets down in there, it sits there and the excess moisture leads to yeast infections, which, if left untreated can also lead to bacterial infections.
