Could someone tell me why my dog(she is 1 yr old today) continues to get car sick when we travel. The Vet said she would probably out grow it but she has not. I don't feed her when we are leaving but she throws up anyway.
Also next question: She is a Maltipoo and is 6 lbs 4 oz and she was spayed at 7 months. After that she wants to (I don't know how to word this) She now wants to "hump" our feet we go shoe less in the house. Is this normal? She is not around any other dogs.

Some people and animals just get motion sick. My mom has found that feeding her dogs gingersnaps before a trip seems to help.

I think car sickness can come either from true motion sickness or anxiety about the car. Crackers always help me when I get carsick, and they helped one of my dogs. Some of them seem to do better if they have some ice chips to lick.
You might check with your vet for some mild anti-anxiety medicine if nothing else helps.
