I was asked what love mean and I really just don't know how to explain it in words can someone help me and tell me how to explain love in words...

Love is an internal feeling that you get every time you're around a certain person. Some describe it as butterflies, or a feeling of hopelessness, like you'd just die if they were to disappear or leave you. Also, you know you're in love when that person is the first person you think of in the morning and the last one you think of before you go to bed. <3

I wrote this in another post, but its my definition of love.

To me:

Love renews you, changes you, invigorates you. It makes you look forward to waking up in the morning so you can see that person and makes you yearn to fall asleep so you can dream about them. It encompasses your world and draws you into your own little bubble. It makes you feel alive like you had never breathed before you met your match. It makes every moment sparkle with intensity and possibility. It grows inside your heart, your mind, your soul and blossoms into a beautiful flower to be displayed to the world.

Love is losing yourself in another person, yet retaining the independence of a secure, trusting relationship. It is feeling safe and secure, not wondering if you're 'the one', but knowing you were made for your partner.

Love is living. Breathing. Ever-changing. Ever-growing. Being completely, wholly cherished.

So, that's what love is to me.

Love is holding your baby in your arms for hours and hours when he is ill and screaming in your ear.

Love is making a gift for your mother of a cake that has a hard boiled egg in the middle due to having to answer the phone and forgetting to remix the batter and your mother laughing about it.

Love is picking armfulls of lilacs for your elderly neighbor who rewards you with home baked cookies.

Love is caring about another person to the point of putting their well being above your own.

Love is a motivator to put someone else first. "true love" simply means you "truly" are able to do that.

*I can watch you sleep for hours and caress your smooth skin
*I come home from a long day's work and there you are waiting for me
*Making the bed when you know I like it made every morning
*Texting me that dinner will be made for me when I come home and that you can't wait to see me
*Texting me that you wish you could hold me in your arms
*The blissful feeling I get when I kiss you
*You know my likes and dislikes and living your life around them
*You make it a point to say 'I love you' at the end of every phone coversation
*Admiring me from a far and then saying that I am so beautiful

That is what love is to me...
