Why do I keep thinking about food? I keep trying to eat as little as possible and keep thinking about what others are eating. I'm not anorexic I am a healthy weight but am always worried about gaining weight. How do I change my thoughts?

Jaju,
You seem to have a problem with food among other things and from your other posts it seems that you worry too much about it.

And these thoughts about food maybe related to several things in your life, maybe you fear something which makes you turn to food as a comfort.

I have read some of your other questions and it seems that you push yourself to diet and end up bingeing on food which makes you feel even more bad about yourself.

My advice to you would be to stop dieting especially the sort where you eat almost next to nothing. It is not healthy for your body to be deprived of essential nutrients.

I am not sure of your age,but if you have the time I would recommend trying out some healthy recipes by yourself.Enjoy the food making process and enjoy healthy meals throughout the day.

Start with shopping for the ingredients, look at the fresh fruits and veggies, select necessary items, get home and work out the recipe you want. The cleaning, cutting and making.Try out different herbs and spices as flavouring.Make small meals and choose healthy recipes.

If you like snacks, you might like to prepare healthy snacks too so that when you need to snack there is always something healthy for you to eat.

Don't skip meals.Have breakfast everyday and eat small portions for each meal.Drink lots of fluids.Eat fruits of different types as much as you can.

Here is a place to start.
