May I ask why you want to know? I'm assuming it's because you may think you have a ghost or a sprit.
I don't know where you live, or what the laws are, in order to look up records, but I think your best bet to start, would be to ask the neighbors. Try and find out who in your neighborhood or complex, has been around the longest, and go from there. Someone else may have other idea's on how to go about this, so give it awhile.

I won't give you a reddie, but that was a bit rude. He or she only asked a question. That is what we are here for after all.

No need for the whispering sarcasm... I hear it! I was right the first time, you are rude!
Now lets just leave this for the OP'S question allright honey? She/he had a valid question, and this is not the playpen thread.

No Worries at all! You haven't upset me, and all is good! :) As I have mentioned, I was writing an apology, if I had taken your words wrong, until I saw you deleted your post, and then I thought that you were jumping on my back for something I just made a comment on. No heart feelings whatsoever!
So sorry OP, (original poster) we didn't mean to highjack your thread. Back to your question and the topic.

You could try the local library or other public records office of that particular area.Or if they have old local newspapers at the library, that might lead you to some information.

I thought of that too Firmy, but I wondered what records there would really be for renters? I wonder if records of the last person on the utilities acct, that might give a name, would be available? I don't know if that would help any, but could be a start. If it was a homeowner, it would be a lot simpler, but since they were renters, that could prove to be difficult.

Starby,
That is true,I was thinking of more unusual deaths than normal death, which might be recorded in the local papers.

I would say it is more often the property, and not the latest residents. So yes, I agree with what you said. Bedtime Starby is yawning, and not thinking straight! ;)
