I have ford fairmont 97 model and could not open the driver door from inside. Does anybody help me how to fix it?

Either the inside door handle, the latch, or the connecting linkage has become dettached.
If the outside handle still work to open the door, the latch should be OK.
If the inside handle doesn't work at all, does the inside handle feel like it's connected to the latch:any movement inside the door when trying the inside handle as compared to trying with the outside handle that does work?

I fixed it. It was a connecting linkage which was dettached.
