I need help remembering the title of an old cartoon movie I used to watch all the time when I was a kid. All that I can remember about the plot is that it followed a vaguely Cinderella-esque motif, with an evil stepmother with triangular hair and a red dress, who was cruel to her stepdaughter and tried to stop her from marrying prince charming (at least I think he was a prince). The story involved lots of woodland animals and a ball-scene in which the heroine (who had black hair, if that helps) wore a white dress and tiara, although she naturally ran away half way through. I think she also hung around with an old woman who tried to save her from the stepmother. The film also involved an attempted rescue by some of the animals and the prince through a big old castle using a piece of string or yarn(?) In the end it was the typically happily-ever-after deal as with any fairytale.
