I was in my car in a parking lot and a trailer got detached of an oncoming truck and came up the pavement and hit my car and broke back axle. I have no isurance and was wondering if the owner, driver or business would be responsible for paying car damages? The owner of the trailer is also the business owner and has pretty much ignore my calls for over a month now. Any advice on what I should do? I desperately need my car back, I'm a full time student and work full time. Cab rides are getting too expensive!

I would suggest getting your car fixed and then trying to get in contact later and getting this resolved. But most importantly DON'T DRIVE WITHOUT CAR INSURANCE.

First, if you have no insurance you are driving illegally. All states require at least a minimum of coverage. However, if you have liability but not collision that is a different story.
If you were parked or stopped in the lot, then the owner of the trailer is 100% responsible. You should have gotten his insurance information at the scene and filed a claim with his carrier. Its still not too late to do so if you have the info. If not, was there a police report filed? If so, you can get the info from the police.

Hopefully this will teach the OP that driving is a privilege not a right, one that must be taken seriously and protected.

Scott is 100% correct - get an estimate for the repair and sue in Small Claims Court for the cost of the repair as well as your other expenses (cab fare). Some Judges are more lenient about these things than others but I would certainly claim the other expenses.
And were you totally uninsured or just driving without collision insurance - ?
At any rate your lack of insurance is NOT the cause of the accident and while it isn't going to help you it shouldn't hurt you - these are 2 different issues. You were totally not at fault here, totally not at fault.

If necessary get an attorney involved as the truck/business owner will most definitely have insurance. He's hoping that you will "just go away" and leave him alone.
