I am Lynn's sister, Mirabella, just call me Bella please . I am 23 years old. Me and my husband are trying for a baby. I ovulated the 3rd through the 8th and we made love the 6th. I have been having stomach pains and a white creamy discharge. I cannot lay on my stomach without feeling really sick and I am tired all the time. Could I be pregnant?

Anytime you have sex there's always some possiility of becoming pregnant. But its way too soon to tell. Even if you are pregnant, if you conceived on the 6th that's be what, 3 days pregnant? At the very most? I don't think you would even be having any signs of pregnancy at that point. Usually a test won't show until around the time that your next period should be. If it's a hpt you usually have to wait at least a couple days after your period is due.

Could be... however, if you did become pregnant from having sex on the 6th, the fertilized egg would, in the vast majority of cases, still be on its way to your uterus, so you won't really know for awhile yet.

It is important to keep in mind that since you actually only ovulate in a 24 hour period (You may have been fertile from the 3rd to the 8th... which means conditions were good for allowing sperm to survive until the egg was released), you may have missed the window of opportunity. For example, if you did happen to ovulate on the 3rd or 4th, having sex on the 6th would have been too late. When you know the most likely time you are fertile... increased and more fluid cervical mucus, cervix softens, possible positive result on an OPK, etc. it is a good idea to start having intercourse several days before this time, or at least as soon as you notice these changes... (sometimes they are not always easy to discern).

Well me and Andrew had sex about a week or less before I ovulated so I don't know.

Doula is absolutely correct. Ovulation takes place within 24 hours, so it can be hard to time it exactly right. However, if you have sex after ovulation, its nearly impossible to catch the egg in time. Having sex a few days before ovulation could result in pregnancy if your cervical fluid is in a fertile stage just before actual ovulation.

I recommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It teaches you how to recognize your own fertility signs and if your interested, how to chart basal body tempratures. (I charted and got pregnant fairly quickly)

If you are pregnant, it would be too soon to tell. A fertilized egg does not implant for between 7 - 10 days post-ovulation. Once it does, you would probably start feeling your first symptoms (which are also very similar to PMS)

Good Luck!
