I just bought a Habor Breeze ceiling fan & light kit. The ceiling fan has 1 black, 1 white, 1 blue and a green wire. The ceiling wires have two black, and two white wires. These wires were hooked to the light fixture I took down. Which wires do I use to wire my new ceiling fan & light up? Thanks, Sudds

The light/fan will connect to the same wires you are left with when you took down the old light.

White (ceiling) to White (fan/light)
Black (ceiling) to (Black fan/light) and (Blue fan/light)
Bare (ceiling) to green (fan/light)

One of the cables is bring power to the ceiling box on the black wire. The other cable takes the power to the switch and back.
You need a test light or a meter to determine which of the black wires is hot.

After determining which is the hot black, connect the hot black to the white of the other cable going to the switch and to the black of the fan. Connect the white wire of the hot cable to the white of the fan/light. Connect the blue fan/light wire to the black wire of the cable going to the switch. The switch should now control the light and the pull chain should control the fan operation. If the switch controls the fan and not the light, reverse the black and blue fan/light wire connections.
