Attached, you will find the operating and installation instructions for the DSL-450LX. Hopefully, that will do the trick for you.

I figured it would be better to include the whole thing, rather than just type in the wire connections, because there are many different ways of hooking this up, depending on your heating system and what extra things you may have connected to it.

Since I don't know what other options you might have attached to it, I also included the overview for the series, and the manuals for the indoor and outdoor temperature sensor modules. They aren't needed for many applications, but if you are running a heat pump, it can switch over to a backup heating system when it gets too cold outside to economically run the heat pump, and average the temperature over up to 6 places in the house.

Holy cow... that's pretty impressive for a newbie's 1st post. How are you ever going to top that? You really set the bar high for yourself!:p

I hope I don't have to top each answer with the next. Someone dropped one of these thermostats on my desk, and asked me to do something useful with it, so I went in search of information, and found the question, as well as what I needed to answer.

So, right now, I have a choice: find out if my own furnace has a 24-volt source, and install it, or use it to keep that pesky table in the hallway from wobbling on it's short leg. :)

I *had* a very nice Honeywell thermostat with an electric clock and automatic setback, but the furnace service people managed to burn it out, likely connecting the 24-volt supply lines to 240 or something similarly stupid. They thought one of those silly little mercury-switch thermostats was a fitting replacement for the one they wrecked, that was from the 60s or before... this one still doesn't have automatic setback unless one adds the clock module, but it's a step in the right direction.

Now that I've found this place, I think I will hang around a little while, and see if it pays better than Amazon's Mechanical Turk. Anything that helps cut the eBay bill would be welcome, but I like being helpful even without a financial incentive.
