I have a friend who has a horrible drug problem, since I have been around him I have seen him mainly abuse percocet, ritalin, and valium. He never hardly sleeps and he does and average of about 2 to 4 10 milligram yellow percocets, and then snort between 9 and ten 20 mg ritalin, and then eats about 4 or 5 10 mg blue valium. I was really concerned if he would be OK. He has woken up before and has stayed up for 24 straight hour when he took the percocets and valium and then snorted the ritalin. He told me he ate one decent size meal within that 24 hours, but he said that, that was all the amount of different narcotics that he took that day. Is he going to be OK, or will he like die immediately from that or would he have to do that much like that a lot? I am very worried for him and so I was wondering if anyone knew how to answer this problem. Also if he ate a decent meal do you think that might help, or does eating not matter?

Hello sugar:

Yes, those drugs could kill him. Eating properly won't help, either.

Those drugs will slow down his respitory system and yes he will die.Obviously he needs help,a lot of people who use ridiculous amounts of drugs he is using (if he is really using all that)are really reaching out for some help.Tell someone.. . who cares how mad he gets, you may save his life.I just have a hard time believing that he is taking all those 10mg valiums that alone will kill him.I don't know how he is even functioning those pills make you forget and are highly addictive as well as the other drugs. I'm glad that he has a friend that cares now its up to you to get him some help.Good luck Don't be scared just do it!

Yes, this mixture of drugs can and will kill a person, beyond a possible OD it will weaken his system also, add to this not sleeping or eating properly and his system will get weaker and weaker he normally increases the drug usage.
They are very addictive and he will not want to stop and normally will not be able to stop on his own.

What will help him, is ( if he is a teen or pre teen) having his parents know and getting him into a program to get off the drugs.

But just "eating" is not the problem, the using the drugs, he will have to be stopped from the drug usage
