I have a crafstman 18hp tractor with v twin kohler. It won't start it has no spark or igntin power to the coil. So I bypassed the igntion switch and appled power to the coil while cranking still no spark I think it needs a coil but not 100% for sure. Is there anything else I should ck for.

Remove the small black "kill" wire from the coil and see if you get any spark.

There is only one wire on the coil
