Is it possible to disable the display light on my bottom-freezer Kenmore fridge? It seems like a waste to have it go on every time I open the door.

You could just loosen the bulb or put one in there that's burned out. I don't recommend taking bulb out because you'd have an empty live socket there someone could contact accidentally
