Hi, Apparently, we have a mouse trapped in the back of our refrigerator. He doesn't respond to our traps. How do we get him out?

Thanks!

Michele

The best answer is a cat.

The mouse isn't trapped. It comes out when you aren't around and wanders through your cabinets. If there is any food of any kind anywhere in an unsealed container in you kitchen or rooms nearby, the mouse will find it. It will find a way to even get into wall cabinets attached high on the wall. Don't ask me how.

If you pull out the refrig and take a vacuum to the underside portion, you will probably find its nest. Sounds like that is where it spends most of its time.

By the way, there is probably more than one, as in male and female. Expect the number to increase based on how much food you make available for them.

I've been through this. When we have a cat, we have no mice.

thanks for the reply. We can hear the mouse inside the refrigerator in the morning and evenings. I guess tomorrow we will have to take apart the back of the refrigerator and have a look. I have vacuumed, etc. I was hoping there was a way to draw him out.

Yeah, he is only one of several mice in the house. We have a dog. I am allergic to cats =(

You might borrow one from a friend some weekend you plan on being out of the house.
