I cannot find any large tile ready shower pans. I need at least a 72 inch by 32 inch pan. Any ideas where, or do I have to make a custom one? I thought maybe by taking a 60 x 32 and then butting another pan up against it I could come up with some semi-custom concept.?

Hi Charleen:
I think I may have found a 36" x 72" terrazzo shower base. Check out this link for more info. The telephone number of manufacturer and webpage address is at the bottom of the page:

Look at model 36D and model 36DD at bottom of 2nd page at the specification sheet. These are heavy floors! Call and ask if they have some that are molded from plastics.
Also found a premolded plastic 72" x 44" pan:

Otherwise, check out this link below... shows most information you need to install a custom shower pan/walls, etc.:

Let us know if you need more info. On this.
Personally, I would have you opt for a premolded floor!
Let us know what you think... MARK
PS..Don't just BUTT pans together!
If this helped please RATE THIS ANSWER. Thank you

Another option is to build your pan from scratch. How to Build a Shower Pan (http://hoagy.org/house/HowToBuildShowerPan.html)
A 60" pan is the normal max size since a tub would also be 60", most builders try to stay in this range. Have you stood in a 72" shower pan, its pretty darn large.
