Help! I have salt and pepper hair under all that dying and desided to change me hair color once again. I had brown hair/red and decided to go a bit darker. Well it turned out like the color of Black cherry. I want to strip it on my own at home. I have never seen my salt and pepper hair color because I always dye it. I believe I have warm tones to my complection. What permanent hair color should I be using to re-dye my hair? Does anyone suggest Loreal Color Zap to strip my hair. Please help, I desperate:(

Firstly, I Am A Stylist, And I Don't Trust Over The Counter Color , So I Don't Know What That Will Do To Your Hair. I Do However Know That Your Hair Will Not Lighten Easily, That Dark Pigment Is Horrible To Get Out Without Trashing Your Hair. I Guess I Would Recommend You Go To A Beauty Supply Store , Not A Drug Store, And Get Off The Scalp Bleach And 20 Volume Developer. Mix It According To The Instructions And Apply In Small 1/4 Inch Sections, But Stay One Inch Away From The Scalp. Let It Process Until It Is A Medium Orange And Then Apply In The Same Way To That Inch On The Scalp You Kept It Off. When It Is A Medium To Light Orange ( It Will Be Different In Several Places Because Of Application) Wash It Out, Shampoo. Then With Your Pretty Orange Hair Go Back To The Beauty Supply Store (probably Wearing A Hat!) And Ask Them To Help You Choose A Demi Permanent Color To Tone Out The Orange Without Darkening It. This Is About The Best You Can Do Without Really Ruining It. Purchase A Reconstructing Conitioig Treatment And Apply A Treatment Following The Instructions Twice A Week And You Hair Will Improve With Time...
