I was pregnet and on drugs and had cashed some checks. There was one govnment check for 3200. I got off the drugs and had my child, I also left canada. I want to go home but a dective told me there was 5 counts of fraud waiting for me. Will I loose my child and go to jail? The checks all amounted to $5000? And I have no pass criminal charges.

Was this a police officer that told you? And if you have to go to jail for even a few months, who is in Canada to keep the child for you?

The very best thing you can do, first find out if there is really a warrant out for you. Next if there is, hire an attorney to arrange for you to turn yourself in and have bail arranged .
