I have these bumps on my vagina. One the lips close to the inner part of my vagina. They are hard under the skin. I though it was ingrown hairs because I have had them before I even started to have sex. I went to my gyno ans she told me that it was not ingrown hairs but it appears that something is irritating my vagina. I don't shave there but I have used hair removal cream but also not for a very long time. I don't think its my underwear because then my entire lips would be irritated and not just that area. The only thing I can think of I tissue paper. Is this at all possible for tissue paper to have this effect. These bumps have been coming for years now but its really getting to me now. What can I try or what possibilities are there?

It sounds more like sebaceous glands (sweat and lubricant glands) on your Vulva-normal.
Do they irritate you? Hurt or sore?
You've had them for ages? Sounds like they are not really an issue just a cosmetic issue?

They don't hurt or anything but it makes my vagina bumpy and I don't want my guy thinking something is wrong with me. So what causes this? And what can I do to make the situation better?

I doubt that to be frank (a guy that you give the privelidge to have sex with you wold care either way and probably not feel the presence or absence of them anyway. What causes them? They are a natural part of your anatomy-they are actually there to lubricate your labia and vagina keeping them supple and "yummy" (sorry for that).

That's funny. But I have done some research online and I kread that Tretinoin Cream also known as Vasanoid helps.

Id suggest that you may cause more problems putting cream on them. To me the cream is designed to reduce inflammation-you could try heamorroid cream as well-probably would give you a similar result.-do they really bother you?
I think that you will find that they are lymph nodes or sebaceous glands-I'm no expert, but I'd take a look... *wink*

Do not allow this preparation to come into contact with the mucous membranes (e.g.mouth, vagina, inside of nose etc.).
Just found the above on the internet-I wouldn't put it anywhere near your vulva-it will sting you!

It really bothers me.I have approximately 17 in all. Its very frustrating. One is dark but the others are skin toned. I am not comfortable at all because from what I read some people maily feel them but mine are very visible. They are small but because some are close together they form a visible cluster. So what are my options if I really want to get rid of them? What method is normally used?

I'm starting to get the feeling we are dealing with genital warts, it would be great if I could see a picture (no not for anything kinky) just to satisfy the colour/texture and location of these bumps-seems a little more than what I was originally alluding to...

Being allergic to toilet tissue is more common than many suspect. Try a different kind.

The one that is dark is because I took a needle and tried to poke it. But nothing happen. Its hard. There was nothing in it
