Good afternoon to all. Recently began to remodel a small bath on a slab. Problem. Bath is on a slab, it only has a shower and toilet. I have removed shower and would like to install a vanity and toilet only. All the walls are concrete block, and concrete slab floor. There was not vanity before and there is only a floor drain from the old shower. HELP!!

Get out the sledge hammer and the shirt with the muscles in it because you're going to be busting up some cement. Since you failed to inform me what material the pipes are I'm assuming they're cast iron.
Break out the cement and remove the old floor drain. Now convert to 2" PVC from cast iron using a No-Hub Band,(see image). Extend the PVC over to where you wish to install the lavatory and using a 2" short sweep elbo bring the pipe up in the wall 18" off the floor to the center of a 2 X 2 X 1 1/2" DWV PVC drainage tee. Stub out of the wall with 1 1/2" PVC about 6". That will pick up the lavatory. Now come off the top of the tee with a 2" vent. You have options here. You can run the vent out the roof , you can run itvup and revent back into a existing dry vent at least 6" over the floodrim the fixture the dry vent services or you can run the vent up in the attic and revent back into a existing roof vent.
