I have this friend well my moms ex who I kept in touch with he's an alchaholic, and he would always get me to do beer runs or do some of his banking to take money out for him.
I did so a couple times a week recently I went and took money out for him, 900.00 once, then a few weeks before that over 1800.00
I was seen on video survalence taking this money out.
He always gave me money out of it as well.
Anyway a few weeks ago he said I stole all this money from him, which I didn't.I had 500.00 on me that I had on hand and never had a chance to give to him so I sent it in the mail he said to never go to his house again because I had "stolen" from him.I mailed the money with a note saying sorry if you think I stole from you here's your money, I won't bother you anymore, why are you going to get the police involved, kind of thing.
I don't have a criminal record all iw as trying to do was help but now I'm scared ill have police knocking on my door because he's saying I stole all this money from him. And because I was seen on the bank servalence system taking this money out.im scared that they can charge me and its my word against his he is a drunk he has a record going through recent charges himself. Help I'm really scared and worried of what can happen.

Thanks

Yes, if this was at a ATM he will have to explain how you had his ATM card and how you knew his password.

I don't know, Dude... Sounds fishy to me.

After they talk to the drunk, and he tells 'em he doesn't know how you got his card and PIN, you'll have to explain how YOU got it.

However, you don't have to answer. If you do, please don't tell 'em THAT! If they believe him, and a prosecutor thinks he can convict you, he's going to try.

PS> If you didn't steal from him, why are you sending him $500 of your hard earned money?? If somebody accused me, and I didn't do it, I'd tell 'em to go jump in a lake. I'd NEVER send 'em MY money - NEVER!
