We sold our house specifically to get out of debt. Now, we have a wage garnishment against my husband on one of the judgements that was supposed to be satisfied when we sold our house. The same document number listed for the court is the one listed in our Schedule A payoff from the title company.

We had 3 liens on our house at the time 2 of them being held by one lawyer (CC debts) and a 2nd mortgage.

After we sold the house, the title company had listed in our Schedule A of other debts paid the aforementioned debts that were paid including the one that the is now being used to garnish my husbands wages.

We live in Washington, any help or advice on how to stop the garnishment based on the fact that the cancelled checks from the title company were issused to the company and the court documents match.

Thanks

Yes, petition the court to have the garnishment dismissed. You take your evience, you paid receipt where you paid these debts
