My fiancé and I have been together for 7yrs and we decided to try to have another baby. We have been trying since November with no luck and we had sex around the time I was said to be fertile. I have been at my ob dr and he did surgery on me back in December to get rid of polyps I had on my ovaries and he said he don't see any problem of why I couldn't bare any more children. I have 2 now to the same man but I don't understand why I can't get pregnant as I was able to real fast with the other 2. someone said he may have a hernia but he don't feel he does. Can something else be a problem? Is there anything we can do to increase our chances?

It may be just a matter of needing more time. It might happen next month, it might happen 6 months from now. It is very frustrating when it happens so easily before and it isn't the next time you want to be pregnant! When you said you were trying around the time you were said to be fertile... how was that time determined? You may be off just a few days here or there and that can make all the difference. Your doctor will likely not try any testing, for both of you, until you have been trying for a year or so. He may start sooner; you can always ask. But the reason is that it can be perfectly normal for it to take that long.

Things may have physically looked just fine when he checked, but there could be hormonal changes since the last pregnancy or changes in your partner. Odds are things are just fine and it will only be a matter of time, but I know the waiting for it to happen is not easy. Hope you don't have to try too much longer and you will find success soon!
