View Full Version : My water in my rad bottle keeps bubbling up

Hi I have a 1.2 97 clio I have just put a new rad and rad fan motor into it but and when it was heating up the fan was kicking in grad but now when I pun water into it it is just bubbling up and the water is guzzling into the rad does and 1 now what could be wrong any ansers would be greatly appreciated tank you

Check/replace the thermostat. Be sure the thermostat was installed properly. If corrosion was responsible for the radiator being replaced, it may also have corroded the thermostat. Once you solve the problem, refill the system with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and distilled water. Tap water contains too many minerals, which will eventually build-up and cause the engine to overheat. Have the radiator cap pressure tested and ensure the water pump and cooling fan are working properly.

Ye every time I fill it up d water keeps bubblin up in d rad ad to be replaced cause d car was lyin up 4 2 years and d car was driven hard by previous owner and d rad blew could it be d head gasket
