Recently my friend buy a PC. His configuration is given below,

AMD 5600 64X2 Dual Core
Asus M3A Mobo
2GB 800 MHz RAM (ZION)
250 GB Segate SATA HD
17" Samsung Magic Myst
Asus DVDRW
NVIDIA 8800 GT 512 MB PCI-E 2.0 Graphics card
ATX Cabinet + 600W SMPS
Others are as usual...

How ever the problem he found that his PC is got overheated where as a recent AMD athlon PC is not heated in spite of long run. So what is the problem? There already have 2 chesis fan. One thing I suspect that the SMPS fan is big, like server's SMPS, and the fan extract the heat of SMPS towards the motheboard. Is it create the heat. The PC automatically restart when overheated, and show warning from bios overheating problem. What we have to do to solve this problem.

Please help us. We can not understand what is the problem.

Thus the "BIG" fan that your saying is an intake or an out-take? Because if its an intake and its humid or hot in the area where the computer is located that could cause the problem. Try to make it an Out-take fan and see if that solves your friends problem.

Also make sure all the fans on the back are outtake and put intake fans on the front.. this will make sure its not just the same air going round the case getting hot

His right! There should be a good circulation of air inside the System Unit to avoid overheating problems

I open the cabinet and see that the SMPS fan is out-take the air, this is really good. But I check that other side fans are in-taking, so I fix them for out-taking. Yet the Problem still exists. So I remove the heatsink and see that the tharmal grease/paste is not totaly/properly cover the processor.
I think this is the main problem. The paste seems to be freezed. So I buy a tharmal paste again, and will put it on the next day. Hope it will work.
Do u have any more idea? Am I doing right? The total system is OK, but the processor is heated too much. His motheboard temparature is fixed in 38c. But prosseor temp exceed 60-70-80-92C.
