While in the process of getting divorice in Pennsylvania, the papers were not yet signed by the judge granting the divorice and one spouse died. Does the remaining spouse still inherit the estate?

Just curious: Who was the plaintiff? Did the plaintiff go to a hearing and provide evidence to the judge that would prove the grounds for the divorce? Additionally, the deceased may have had an estate plan (will, etc.) that impacts the survivor's interest.

The plaintiff was the husband who filed and has sinced died before the divorce decree. Now the kids say the wife doesn't get anything. The man became ill while married (second marriage, for 5 yrs). His adult children said they wanted him to live with them they had to take care of him, he needed full time care. After 6 months, they called and said she could no longer visit and they were filing for divorce. They would not let her talk to him on the phone and he was so weak and ill he didn't fight or maybe know what was going on. His signatures don't even look the same. However, he did pass before the decree. So is she still married... and entitled like a spouse??
