I have a Moen Single lever - 1225 kitchen faucet - when changing the stem - the o-rings for the diverter were severely stretched, and after removing the diverter - the o-rings will no longer fit. I tried in vain to locate another diverter and gave up. I purchased what I thought were the correct o-rings - only to find out that they were not. We managed to purchase o-rings that although they fit into the ridges in the diverter - they are not a true fit - and now we wind up with only half a sprayer - instead of the full force.
How and where can I get this diverter with the correct o-rings?

Hey Vanman:

You should just need to call 1800BUYMOEN...

They warranty all faucets/valves for a lifetime. They will ship a new stem in 10 working days or less free of charge (including shipping) or for $12.00 they can ship to you in 2 days.

Otherwise, bring the stem assembly to a local plumbing supply house they should be able to set you up with new orings or a new stem assembly quickly. While you are there pick up a smalll plumber's silicone grease or similar product and then grease up the new orings slightly before installing them this time... ;)
