The 42" lawn tractor worked fine the last time I used it a few days ago. I parked in shed in neutral. I went to use it today and it started OK but wouldn't move when shifted into reverse or fwd Help appreciated mucho. Does it use fluid for drive ? Just bought it used w/ no manual.

There is a relief lever on my Yardman that allows you to move the tractor when the engine is off. Mine is a little lever located on the floor pan just under the riders seat. If that is in the wrong position the hydrostatic transmission will not engage. Look around for this short little rod and besure the transmission is in neutral before you try to move it and then start it up and try fwd or reverse. I had to figure this one out as well, hope this works for you
