I want to sell my computer to buy a brand new Dell.
My computer has: Intel(R) Celeron(R) 2.40GHz, 1.50GB Ram (1x 512 and 1x 1GB), 80GB hard drive, DVD-RW and CD-RW, DVD drive, Floppy drive. It's an Emachines 410 with Microsoft Windows Xp Home Edition SP2.

Thanks.

Have you checked Ebay and other such sites to see how much they are going for?

I have looked on eBay but the prices are like £30 but some are like £200.
So I am a bit confused.

I would go by the highest one, if it's the same system as yours.

You are welcome, good luck! You can always post it on eBay, so that people can bid on it, that way THEY decide how much you sell it for. You can set a minimum price, too!

Forget 200 punds for that machine. That's like $400 USD and you can get a brand new machine for that much.

A Celeron processor is very low end. So you have a weak processor with a small hard drive. I think you would be luck to get 50 pounds for it. Definitely less than 100.

£200 pound is asking a bit too much.. assuming you're selling the tower alone about £100-120 (mind u there a higher spec machines selling for less than that, but yours has a ton of ram)

Throwing a monitor and a printer/scanner in you can ask for more

Not much demand for celeron systems nowadays u see

Ok thanks, I'll try on eBay and see how much people would buy it for. I'll try like but it now for
£150 and I'll put in a 15" screen.
