I am unable to find them. Have searched everywhere and I need them badly

If you filed your taxes that year, you go to the local IRS office and request a copy of your return. All the info you need will be on it. Sometimes there is a charge for this and it takes a couple weeks. If you can prove your requested a copy whatever you "need them badly" for will understand and wait. Also if you know where you were working they have to keep them for 7 years too. Contact their HR or accountant.

IRS does not keep copy of W2. They can send you transcripts of W2 or copy of your tax return (if you filed). So call IRS and ask for the transcripts. It is free.
