My 1991 Accord EX suddenly will not start. The car drove normally, I parked it overnight, and the next day it would not start. It does not turn over. There is a voltage drain from 12.5 to 12.0 while moving the key to "start", but the starter makes no noise or clicking. The CEL turns off after 2 seconds, I can hear the main relay clicking, and that's it. I had a similar problem 8 years ago, and the main relay was resoldered, which resolved the issue. So, I pulled the relay, it looked rough, so I replaced it, but the problem remains the same. The problem does not change if I try to jump start it, and the car will not roll start. All electrical accessories, radio, windows, lights, etc, work normally. The car has a new battery, battery cables, and alternator, which I replaced 6 weeks ago.
Because the main relay swap did not fix the problem, I'm slightly frustrated and uncertain how to proceed.
Thank you,
