But my friend has a new boyfriend who she just recently started seeing. He's really, really nice but all he ever talks about is her.. and all she ever talks about is him. There's no point in talking to them anymore because all they ever talk about is each other. I no its not jealousy, I've already thought about that and I def know it isn't. But it gets on your nerves after a while. Its always 'i love her' or ' I love him ' and they've only said it five thousand times when we talk on msn!! All I want is for her to know that its getting on my nerves that she's always talking about him and she loves him and she wishes he was here and so on and so forth. I don't want to hurt her feelings because I no that if I tel her this it would, and where really good friends. I want to talk to them both without having to hear about the other person.. I want to know about them not the other one.. I no its love but I can't take it anymore! I'm trying so hard not to yell at them about it :confused:

I do! I try to change the subject but they always go back to each other again.. it usually goes from 'hi how are you?' to 'watcha up 2?'

Then they start talking about the other person and I can't change the subject because they always go back to the other person..

You have to be annoying back when they annoy you. Let them say a normal amount of stuff, 1 or 2 comments, then change the subject.

When they change it back, say "Butterscotch!" He won't know what you mean. Tell him, "all I have to say about her is 'butterscotch'!"

Now, every butterscotch will underline what an obnoxious bore he's being. And it can get funny. Every time you answer, it's in a different tone...

Questioningly: "Butterscotch?" (what do you mean?)
Funny: "Butterscotch! Butterscotch! (ha ha ha)
Sad: "BUTterscotch..." (i'm sorry to hear that....)
