Money Gram states they do a transfer of 2500 for 15 dollars in US funds from the US to China
MoneyGram International (http://www.moneygram.com/index.htm)

Other options can be:

International Banking - Wire Transfer Forms (http://www.eastwestbank.com/english/forms-wtransfer.asp)

City National Bank: Personal Banking - International - Wire Transfers (http://www.cnb.com/personal/international/wires.asp)

Western Union is fast but it's probably the most expensive service.

If you want to do wire transfer, you must do it from the bank you have an account with them only.
The fee for $3000 is approx $50. Make sure you go to the bank early because if you have it done after 1100 hours, it will go on the next day.
