We just got a new family member, she is a 10 week old long haired Chihuahua. Every time we put her in her kennel she poops and we have to wash her off every time because it gets in her hair. We take her out to poop and pee every time she eats, and excercise her a lot. Why is she going poop in her kennel every night?

P.S. I'm not sure this is in the right category. I had a hard time finding one that even related to this subject. There needs to be a category for pets/ animals or something?

Moved to dogs

Put her outside for pee and poo every two hours, when she does, say, 'good pee! Good poo!'.. once she establishes her kennel, as 'her space' she will never ever poo in it again. She's just a little confused because she is a pup.. what it the consistency of her poop?
