I like this guy at my church. I know he likes me back, one reason is his brother told me. I can also tell since whenever he is around his friends they look at me, giggle a little and try to make him come talk to me. Last year at a church camp he came to me asking for advice because a girl liked him, she was sort of my friend and he wanted help. Anyway, he ended up telling her he wanted to be just friends. We have tried to talk in the past but we are always interupted by kids everywhere around church, or of course, his friends are bothering him too much. Im really shy, and I can tell he is too. Ill find him staring at me, but he won't talk to me! What should I do?

Hand him a note if you are too shy to ask or explain.

If you're both shy and uncertain, maybe you don't really need to be rushing into a relationship. But work on the friendship, try to spend more time with him and really get to know him. If something is really there between you, eventually one or both of you will speak or act on it. Give it time.

If you're old enough to seriously consider trying to get a boyfriend, then you're old enough to start being stronger than your fears.

Relationships take effort, they take risk, they take you spending a LOT of time outside of your comfort zone. But, all of these are GOOD things, since they help you grow and learn and get better, right?

So, if you're attraction to him is strong enough, you won't let your own shyness stop you from talking to him. You face the things you want to enjoy in life. You do it.

If the only thing stopping you is your own shyness, heck, you've already won this battle. And it sounds like he's right there waiting.

Things Will Fall Into Place If There Meant To Be. If Your Too Shy To Talk To Him.. Just Stay A Little Later After church.. Give Him a Note Or Text Him. If Any of those things don't work.. Try Talking To His Friends. Maybe You won't be so shy with his friends... Ask If You Could Have Some Alone Time With Him And Talk Things Out. :) Good Luck Hunni.
