I am 17 years old and have been with my boyfriend for almost a year now
I have known him since grade school and I took his virginity
He has some bumps not on his penis but around them and has said he has had them before but now I have one on me it the same area they do not look like warts and are not disscolored or itchy or moist or anything so what could these be? Is it from shaving or not being as clean down there as we should be I don't know...

Another thing is something that I have always had and I don't know how to get rid of
Even after I shower there is an embarrassing ordor and wetness in my vaginal area
Can this be from wearing thong underwear that are not cotton? Someone told me that but I am not for sure

And one last thing is I have had 2 pap smears in a year and they both came up abnormal but they haven't told me why or what it is is this serious?

I need help!

You may have taken his virginity but what about yours... did you have multiple partners? If your pap smears have been abnormal in the past you need to have an explanation from your physician and possibly have further workup done. I have heard people have abnormal pap smears when they have had multiple partners due to different alkalinity of sperm and the effects on the cervix, uterine walls. If you have had multiple partners you may want to be checked for STD's, but there could be other explanations to these bumps as well. Check with your doctor.

You have a right to know what the doctors know about yourself. Get your records and see what is abnormal! Make an appointment ASAP for the bumps and also have your boyfriend tested. A lot of STD's symptoms do not show up right away, and if your boyfriend has had any kind of sexual contact with another person he could be at risk. You don't have to have full intercouse to catch STD's.

And for the odor, try Summers Eve Feminine Body Wash it works wonders for odors. The also make a Equate (walmart brand), Don't know how good it works but you can try it if you would like, its all about the same price 3-4 dollars.

Sometimes when paps are abnormal the physicians do more paps more frequently before further testing, however, you said you have had 2 abnormal paps. Are you scheduled for another? Since these bumps have appeared, was it after your last pap smear? If so, this is a new symptom and it needs to be addressed with your doctor. If you already discussed this with your doctor and have had these bumps awhile I would be curious to what he or she said. Make an appt soon so you can get more concrete answers.
