I have a 1995 Honda Civic that when you turn the ignition to start the car nothing happens. However, the lights and the radio work I just can't get the engine to start. I've had the started checked and it doesn't seem to be the problem. Someone said something about a safety neutral switch but I'm not sure what that is or where it may be located.

. Ensure battery is fully charged--replace, if necessary.

. If the starter motor won't crank:

. If it's a "crank but won't start situation," read Sections A and B below:

I've never seen neutral safety switches be the problem, even though it's possible. The problem will be something much more common.

txgreasemonkey could you help me please.. I have a 1995 honda civic that won't start. I checked the main relay and there's no current going to the gas pump. The main relay does work though because I tried it on another honda and it worked. Could you help me please?
