I have an Armstrong split system AC unit and the fan capacitor that a technician installed only
Blows air on a very low setting. I have a replacement capacitor but I am not sure of where to
Connect the wires. On the existing capacitor it appears that he taped 2 capacitors together and wired them in series. The upper right connector a brown wire and the lower right connector has a yellow wire. The upper and lower left connectors have a wire connecting themselves in series. The replacement fan capacitor has four connectors. I'm going to take a guess in that I should connect the brown wire to the upper left connector and the yellow wire
To the upper right connector and leave the lower two connectors open. Am I right? Also, do
I need to discharge the existing connector before removing the existing wires before I replace it? Very much appreciate the help.
