I have what appears to me to be some sort of teapot or tea steeping pot. It is some sort of ceramic ( possibly earthenware or ironstone) and has the name "Sarosy" inscribed on the bottom. I have looked online and Google searched the name and come up with literally thousands of hits. Many of them relate to art or pottery, but I can find nothing that gives me any visuals of examples of work to compare styles. How can I more easily research this without having to search and peck through tens of thousands of web sites? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure of the spelling of the name "Sarosy?" I ask, because I'm not coming up with anything in searches that could be useful.
Thanks!

I have looked at the inscription several times. At first I thought it said "Sprosy" but on closer examination I realized what I at first thought was a "P" was actually an "A". With the spacing of the letters it could actually be S Arosy or even S A Rosy. The spacing makes is difficult to tell. I am however sure of what the letters are, unless what I am taking to be the downstroke of "A" is really just a random scratch that occurred during the signing. I have tried many variations to try to find something, but no luck yet. Thanks for your help. If you can come up with any leads I would very much apreciate it.
