I had unprotected sex last month on the 27th. (Never again! ) But he didn't ejaculate, he was in me for like... 3 minutes at most? (I know now after researching that this isn't safe either... never again!)

I got my period on the right day this month and everything was normal.
I've been researching around and there have been some cases where women were pregnant even with their period.
I want to make sure that I'm not pregnant... so should I still buy a test?

If so, what brand is the most reliable? And is it allright to test like a week after my period has finished?

Thank you for all your help!

Chances are that you aren't pregnant. You got your period and, as you said, everything was normal, sounds like you lucked out. If you want to take a test then go ahead, you can buy one at your local pharmacy, walmart, etc. They will have a huge selection to choose from, and all test for the hcg hormone, so I don't believe that there's a difference in accuracy. I really don't think you need to, but if that's what it takes to put your mind at ease then go ahead, I'd be more concerned about an std at this point.

Good luck.

Not to scare you or anything but yeah, you should be more concerned with stds. You really have no clue how easy it is to get one this day and age. Including aids. Go get an aids test sometime because I doubt pregnancy is your worry here.
