I am having a bit of trouble telling if I am having contractions, about 20 minutes ago I went to the washroom I had a lot of pressure ( nothing new). Since then I have had pulling pain in my lower back and lower abdomen, I have tried different positions but nothing is really working, except lying down strait. In the last few days I have feeling down and out, my nesting face is over I really don't want to clean anymore I was crazy cleaner up to last week, and I still have diarrhea. I know I am really close I just don't know how close.

Have you seen your doctor yet?

Today no, L&D said to come in when the pain is almost unbarable. So I am not sure what's going on.

If you have questions contact your doctor. We took my daughter in to induce labor and they told her they couldn't because she was IN LABOR--contractions four minutes apart! First child.

If you sit still do the pains go away, or do they still come? If they don't go away then it could be that you are in early labor. Start timing, do some walking, get things going and good luck, you'll know when it's time.

Could be labor. How far apart are the contractions? On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is the pain?

Well not to sure the back pain is still there better when I am lying down . Now when I sit up it hurts in the back and when I stand up it really hurts, again it feels like someone is trying to pull my lower half down. My legs kind of hurt as well, it's really hard to descibe.

I would call your doctor and tell him what you are feeling, it's really hard to give you an accurate response over the internet. Call your doctor. Oh, if it is labor, don't forget to post and let us know what you have and how it went. Good luck.

The pulling pain could be the result of your uterus contracting. It pulls on it's supporting tendons, one in the back, two in the front. Can your partner massage and apply counter-pressure to the pull-points? You can experiment with massaging the two in front.
The more you move around, the faster things will progress, the more intense it will get. You will live through it! It helps to relax and let your body work. It's hard to relax when you want to fight the pain. You go girl.

I'm saying girl now because of the back pain. I had back labor with my daughter, so I'm saying girl. Hey, I have a 50% chance of being right, right? Should we start a betting pool? Anyone? LOL. Good Luck sweetie, and don't worry, it's not that bad, otherwise no one in their right mind would have more than one, and I had both of mine naturally, no drugs.

It sure feels like it, the stress isn't helping in my life so maybe that's why the baby isn't coming out.

Just take it easy today, rest, relax, watch some TV, nothing stressful. You need to rest, because once the baby gets here you won't be getting much sleep, trust me. :)
