Okay, so, this is kind of an embarrassing subject but uh.. yeah. Anyway, I'm a 17 year old girl. Well, over the last couple months... or year... I have notice that I have some... body odor problems. Not anything noticeable really. But like, my under arms don't really ever smell good. I wear deodorant, but it doesn't seem to help at all. I have even tried wearing mens deodorant. It helps for about an hour, and then it wheres off and I'm back to square one. Nothing helps ever. I mean, it's not like I sweat a lot either. They just always seem to smell. I have even tried showering like 3 times in the same day. I have tried scrubbing them with POUNDS of soaps and body washes. Nothing seems to help.

Is this something serious or is it something I can easily fix?

(please don't make fun of me for this. I can't even talk to my mom about it, its become so embarrassing.)

:( :o

You should be able to talk to your Mom about EVERYTHING!

Does your deodorant include an anti-antiperspirant? That's very important to prevent that smell, and sweat.

I like Teen Spirit. It's got a really refreshing fruity smell.

My favorite is Secret platinum, great for sweat and body odor.

That's what I wear, I suggested the Teen Spirit cause I used it as a teen and it worked wonders... people always caught me whiffing my own pits... Talk about awkward!

I find that the secret platinum works the best. After having kids your body changes allot, I sweat much more now then I ever used to, but with Secret it's no problem. Jeesh, I sound like a commercial, but it's true, it really works and there are tons of different scents that I really like. Got to love the, arms in the air trying to be descreet armpit sniff, that all women do at least once in their lives. OP, you aren't alone, so don't be ashamed, all of us have been there, it's just a matter of finding a product that works for you. :)

Personally, I really like mitchum. No one's ever caught me sniffing my own pits with it, hahaha, but I think it smells pretty good.
Another thing to keep in mind, we're a lot more sensitive to even the slightest things about our body. There's plenty of things that only we notice, no one else around us. So I wouldn't stress too much if I were you

Try Certain Dry, you put it on at night and then use you deodorant during the day, it's an antiperspirant that works wonders, it basically doesn't allow sweat to come out at all. Grantide they are linking antiperspirants with cancer, but now-a-days they seem to be linking cancer to lots of things.. Arrid (deodorant) works very well, so use Certain Dry and Arrid and that should help a lot..

If that doesn't work, I heard that tomato juice helps with body odor, haven't tried it but I heard it helps

Try drinking more water. Lots of it. It will flush you out and make you smell better. Antiperspirants actually clog your pours and have been linked to some forms of breast cancer. Try going to a healthfood store and sharing your concerns.

I actually only drink water, It's the only thing I've drank for 10 years. And I drink up to a gallon a day. It sounds ridiculous I know.

Try also excercising, it flushes out your sweat, I head that if you exercise a lot your sweat won't even stink

Use Certin Dry it is AMAZING! Just like the previous person said you put it on at night and it doesn't allow your seat glands to secrete the next day. It is a life saver!
