I am interested in a man, we are not dating, he said he likes me very much. But I am start to get the strange feeling if he is asexual or maybe still in the closet. Does anyone know what some signs or clues that he may be either are? I am not feeling comfortable asking him something so personal.

Asexual, Bisexual or Homosexual? Do you think he likes other men? If so, that would be homosexual.

Try asking him out.

If you still think he has no sexual interest after a month or so of interaction, then
Whatever he is, it does not seem a good fit for you. If he wants to be intimate he will:

- smile a lot
- look you in the eyes a lot.
- dress a little nicer
-make jokes
- try to impress you with facts about himself
- help you out in little ways

If he does none of the above, he is likely not trying to "bed" you...

Perhaps, he is just not interested in you?
Does he have too much interest in religion?
Does he talk about his mother?


You'll probably just have to ask him to go somewhere with you and see what he says. Chances your curiosity will never be assuaged.

Can you explain more? What's signals do you think you are getting? Honestly, I can imagine thinking a person might be heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual... but I don't understand how you'd think the person is asexual... meaning, in my mind, the absence of sexuality... without being intimately involved and running into a wall...

So what are the signs you've witnessed? Talk about past relationships? A failure to pursue you with sexual overtones?
