When a child moves out of their parents home into boyfriends and still in college. Does the parent paying child support have to continue paying support or college funds in the state of NY??

This is what I found - hope it helps.
The non-custodial parent is responsible for the support of the child until the child is emancipated. A child is considered a minor until he or she reaches age 21. However, a child may be considered emancipated if he or she meets any of the following:
18 years old and living on his or her own and working full time
Married
In the military

Also found this,
N.Y. Do . Re. Law § 240(1-b)(c )(7) provides that the court may award educational expenses, such as for college or private school or for special enriched education. A parent may not, however, be directed to pay child support and/or contribute toward college education expenses for a child who is 21 years of age or older absent express agreement to do so. See Setford v. Cavanaugh, 175 A.D.2d 665, 572 N.Y.S.2d 591 (1991).
